[sidebar] Ingredients 1 lb lean ground beef (meat case)2 tsp chili powder (we used McCormick)16 oz container of mild or medium fresh salsa (refrigerated produce section)15 oz can of kidney beans (canned goods aisle) Directions Brown ground beef with chili powder in a skillet. Stir salsa, kidney beans with their liquid, and 1 c water. Reduce heat to medium and simmer 10 minutes. Smash some of the beans with a spatula to help thicken chili.
